These systems use a combination of direct, indirect, or both with conventional evaporative condenser or chilled water system. Water is used to remove heat from the refrigerant; thus, reducing the work of the compressor. Most of these systems are used for large commercial applications, but a water cooled evaporative condenser unit is being produced for the residential sector by Freus. |
