Residential Programs

Colorado
- Xcel offers two options for the purchase a high-efficiency evaporative cooler by offering cash rebates. The first option provides a rebate of $200 for evaporative coolers with a minimum airflow of 2,500 CFM. The second option provides a rebate of $500 for more advanced systems that have a media saturation effectiveness of 85% or higher, a remote thermostat control, and periodic purge water control. New Mexico
- Public Service of New Mexico (PNM) Advanced Evaporative Cooling Residential Rebate PNM is offering residential electric customers rebates for installing energy-efficient advanced evaporative cooling equipment - up to $400 per qualifying unit installed. Utah
- Rocky Mountain Power Cool Cash Incentive Program Rocky Mountain Power offers rebates to its residential and businesses customers for first-time installation or replacement installation of a pre-approved evaporative cooling system. Additional incentives are available for the installation of premium, whole house, ducted distribution systems. The program started in 2007 with incentives of $300 for first-time installations, and $100 for replacement systems. The 2008 Cool Cash Incentive program has been has been approved, and is in final preparation for customer participation. - Xcel Energy ConservationWise – Custom Efficiency Program Xcel may offer business customers cash incentives of up to $200 per KW saved for choosing energy-efficiency measures that exceed standard options not covered our their standard conservation programs. - Platte River Power Authority The Electric Efficiency Program (EEP) EEP provides incentives for commercial customers to upgrade to more energy-efficient equipment. Incentives are based on the project electric energy or demand savings, the project cost, and the annual electric savings. Customers may receive incentives for any energy efficiency measure, including the indirect or direct evaporative cooling systems in place of vapor compression cooling.
