Elizabeth Chen’s work at WCEC focuses on engineering modelling and computer programming in areas such as heat and mass transfer processes, building construction, and HVAC systems and equipment. Major projects include development of a transient drying process model based on fundamental heat and mass transfer theory and computer programs to facilitate automatic processing, analysis, and comparison of building simulation models. She holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UC Davis.
