Rachael Collins received her Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Davis. Her research focused on investigating adverse wind effects on Air Cooled Condensers through physical modeling in an Atmospheric Boundary Layer Wind Tunnel. She previously worked for an environmental consulting firm evaluating potential impacts from new development projects on wind and air quality.

Currently, Rachael’s WCEC projects include evaluating the performance of residential retrofit packages that incorporate advanced technologies to improve building envelope sealing and cooling system efficiency, and developing a new resource to increase customer procurement of energy efficiency, generation and storage products.
