Rob Kamisky joined WCEC in 2023 as an R&D Engineer 4 and Program Manager. Previously, Mr. Kamisky worked as an R&D Manager at GTI Energy’s California R&D group in Davis where he managed a staff of eight to perform R&D projects in the residential and commercial building end use sector. From 2004-2016, Mr. Kamisky worked in the wind energy industry, managing research projects at UC Davis and providing engineering support for the wind energy industry as an independent consultant. From 1998 to 2004, Mr. Kamisky focused on automotive engineering with the Hybrid Electric Vehicle Research Center at UC Davis and Battery MD, a small battery system engineering firm in Sacramento. Mr. Kamisky holds bachelors and masters degrees in mechanical and aeronautical engineering from the University of California, Davis.
